Description:
Our job is to create an assembler and an emulator for their processor. The assembler will convert assembly code into machine language, and the emulator will be a software simulation of the processor, allowing the user to run programs written in assembly code and step through them. If time permits, we will also implement an integrated environment that will combine both of these components into a single applicationa.
Description:
SNORRT (Second Network Operated Robotics Research Team) plans to continue the work begun by NORRT in creating a robotic tour guide for the Engineering Building (EB) at SIUE. SNORRT will create an application that will make it easy to start up and shut down the robot. SNORRT will also give the robot the capability to intelligently plan paths to specified locations on the first floor. This added functionality will allow SNORRT to give the robot the ability to give simple tours of the first floor. Upon completion of these two stages, a Tour Creation Application will be developed to allow for the easy creation of tours for the robot to follow.
Description:
The goal of the project is to design and build a mobile device to compete in the IEEE Region 5, 2003 Annual Technical Conference Robotics Contest, on April 11-13, 2003. The team will document, design, and build a mobile device (robot) to maneuver through an optical path. Our goal is to complete the path in a shorter time than the other robots.
Description:
The C n' TAG IT team is developing a customizing software program for the Watershed Nature Center. The software is generic enough to allow anybody to create a computerized multiple choice test on any subject using text, graphic and/or audio media. The resulting test will then be available to be taken on a PC or via a web browser.
Description:
The major goal of the Injury Tracking System is to create an easily navigable system, which tracks general information, physicals, injuries, and recovery progress of injuries for every athlete during his / her athletic career at SIUE. This system will consolidate the two current databases being used into one database, which will assist our client to make queries and produce reports. Further, the Injury Tracking System will include the forms that are completed annually, as well as the forms needed when the athlete receives an injury.
Description:
The AVI Tracker is a database system being developed for the Audio/Visual Services Department to store information about all their audio/visual equipment on campus. This database system will replace the old, antiquated system currently being used by the department to keep track of their entire inventory. The project will also include the implementation of a palm held device which will be used by student workers to take inventory. The device will then be used by the department to update the database.
Description:
The Recruitment Registrar team was created to aid Admissions Marketing in capturing potential student's information from the Admissions Department's website (http://www.admis.siue.edu). We will provide a web-based system that will facilitate the information flow between potential students and Admissions Marketing staff. The system will allow students to sign up for upcoming events such as Preview SIUE. Administrators will have easy access to student information via special queries and reports.
