The Production Assistants have been given the task of re-engineering the production system for the SIUE theater department. The current system uses paper forms and Excel spreadsheets to track elements, construction procedures, materials, accounting and budgeting information. The process of inputting and organizing data in this system is tedious and time-consuming. We will replace this paper system with a fully online system, redesigning forms and reports to make them much easier and quicker to use, and allowing for easier archival and lookup of closed production elements.
